Xbox and AMD join forces for handheld console!

It has been known for some time that Microsoft has been developing its first model to enter the handheld console market. The latest rumors reveal that Xbox is working with AMD to “deliver high-end performance on the go”. Accordingly, the company may use the upcoming Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip.

AMD Z2 Extreme is expected to be released early next year. This new processor promises better battery life and performance gains of up to 25 percent over the Z1 Extreme. AMD allegedly tested the processor with Black Myth: Wukong to test the processor.

Xbox officials were also present during AMD’s presentation. This strengthens speculation that the two companies are working together for the new handheld console.
